For Sale: Trek T1000 for road tours or racing

Rare US made Trek T1000 Road Tandem with drop bars and a strong aluminium frame. It's great for uphills and loading for transport is easy as you can lift with one hand.  It has mudguards and mountings for a rear rack. It eats up the miles with easy rolling (700x28).  It may look like a racing bike but the geometry feels comfortable like a touring bike and the handlebars and Shimano shifters are easy to use. It comes with 27 gears - 3 chainrings at the front and 9 sprockets (11-34) on the back. Flat pedals not included.

Medium size frame 56.5cm at the front and 45cm at the rear and is designed so the smaller rider can get on and off easily, but it can also be ridden by 2 adults. The saddle set up in the photos was for 2 adults who are around 6ft tall, but it has been ridden by a smaller rider at the back who rides a 14 inch frame solo bike.
